This
handgun was developed under request from US SOCOM (Special Operations
Command) and entered the competition with Colt for OHWS - Offensive
Handgun Weapon System - first offensive handgun for US Military since
the adoption of the Colt M1911 Govt. The request was issued in mid-1991,
and the only other major competitor to H&K was the Colt company
with its SOCOM pistol. By the 1993 H&K delivered first prototypes of
its contestant, and eventually HK SOCOM pistol became the Mk.23 model 0
pistol, issued by US Special Operations command to its operators. The
Mk.23 mod.0 is chambered for venerable .45ACP cartridge, which provides
greater stopping power than a NATO-standard 9mm Luger cartridges. Mk.23
mod.0 is designed to safely and reliable fire most powerful .45ACP +P
ammunition, either with ball (FMJ) or expansive (JHP) bullets. Mk.23
mod.0 is usually issued with quick-detachable silencers, made in USA by
Knight's Armaments Co, and with laser pointing module, which installs on
the underbarrel rails. First production Mk.23 model 0 pistols were
delivered to users in 1996.
SOCOM MK23
Replica
is made of metal and ABS. Internal part's and magazine are made of
metal, slide, body and silencer are made of durable ABS. It will hold up
tu 27 6 mm BB's and has fixed slide, so lack of the Blow Back action
what is more economical. Set include's also silencer with build in metal
inner barrel. Such solution increases averall accuracy of the gun.

Propultion
Replicas have spring, electric or gas propultion. Spring models need to
reload after each shot (pull back the lock) to enter the ball into the
chamber. At the same time it pulls spring back, to be able to
give a shot. Electric replicas depends on the battery,
whereby the engine drives the whole gearbox, and a gas models, push
the BB by gas, which loads in magazine (in these replicas ther is
not spring).

Blow Back
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the
work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and
adds a lot more experience during shooting.
Power of all presented replicas is less than 2 [J]. You cannot buy a replica in our shop if you are under 18. Do not shoot at other persons, birds or animals.
