got this one last week from gunfire...this is great gun..its very light for a support weapon..its in the middle of the M4 and MK43.it has a longer inner barrel than the M4 and a little bit shorter from the MK43..capacity of the Mag is 1200 bb's..what a deal..shoot from semi-auto to full auto..great gun..long range..rate of fire is unbelievable with just the 8.4volts..put the 9.6 volt..and its rock in roll..put a li-po 11.1 volts and its a beast..i LOve this gun..10 out of 10 stars..get one for yourself..the best..Lito-Dublin 15WEST

SR 63 had bean developed in early 70's and then tested by US ARMY but only MK63 MOD 0 had bean used in line of duty.
Overall, some 3,500 to 4,000 Stoner 63 weapon kits were produced between
1962 and 1971. Of those, some 2400 Stoner 63 Light machine guns were
purchased by US Navy for issue to special forces in Vietnam, and about
100 more were bought for US Navy S.E.A.L.'s in improved Mk.23 mod.0
version.
The Stoner 63 is more than just a single firearm; it is a modular kit,
which contains about 15 sub-assemblies. Different combinations of those
sub-assemblies (barrels, feed units, trigger units, sight units) allow
the assembly of various firearms on the single receiver unit. All
versions had quick-detachable barrels, which was a handy option for a
light machine gun. For LMG versions, Stoner 63 system has several styles
of barrels, with different lengths and profiles. US Navy's Mark 23
model 0 machine guns used short, fluted barrels, but other versions
(with long barrels) also saw combat in Vietnam. AEG015

of SR 63 is made of metal and ABS. Front grip, stock and pistol grip
are made of ABS while body, outher barrel, sights and barrel cover are
made of metal. This replica has high end finish with all manufacturer's
markings. Inside there is V2 gearbox and it uses T type connector's for
battery suply, this allow's use of this MG in single-fire and auto-fire
mode. Overall weight make's it one of the moust user friendly from all
Machine Guns class. Box magazine has seperate power supply and may fit
1500 BB's.

Propultion
Replicas have spring, electric or gas propultion. Spring models need to
reload after each shot (pull back the lock) to enter the ball into the
chamber. At the same time it pulls spring back, to be able to
give a shot. Electric replicas depends on the battery,
whereby the engine drives the whole gearbox, and a gas models, push
the BB by gas, which loads in magazine (in these replicas ther is
not spring).

Hop-Up
Hop-Uup system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting
it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight
path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up,
while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate
adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which
result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
