The M24 Sniper Weapon System (SWS) is the military and police version of the
Remington 700 rifle, M24 being the model name assigned by the United States
Army after adoption as their standard sniper rifle in 1988. The M24 is referred
to as a "weapons system" because it consists of not only a rifle, but
also a detachable telescopic sight and other accessories.
The M24 SWS had the "long-action" bolt version of
the Remington 700 receiver because it originally was to use the .30-06
Springfield M72 Match cartridge. Unfortunately it turned out there was an insufficient
amount of these rounds in a single lot of manufacture, so the operational
requirement changed to use the dimensionally smaller 7.62×51mm NATO M118 Match
Grade cartridge.
SW 04 sniper rifle replica
The sniper rifle airsoft gun is made from metal and ABS. The whole
stock and the magazine are made from ABS. The barrel, the trigger guard and trigger, stock butt, lock, magazine
well and the bolt handle are made from metal. Once unscrewing two screws, the airsoft gun can be decomposed into two
parts: the barrel with a lock and the stock. Thanks to this, transportation of
the airsoft gun is much easier. The butt of the stock allows for horizontal
adjustment.
Woodland camouflage, which
cover the stock enables the airsoft gun to easily blend into the surroundings and
does not attract sight, exactly opposite to black coloured airsoft guns.
Two short 22mm RIS rails which
are located over the lock enable for mounting optics. There is also a pin for
mounting the bipod.

Propultion
Replicas have spring, electric or gas propultion. Spring models need to
reload after each shot (pull back the lock) to enter the ball into the
chamber. At the same time it pulls spring back, to be able to
give a shot. Electric replicas depends on the battery,
whereby the engine drives the whole gearbox, and a gas models, push
the BB by gas, which loads in magazine (in these replicas ther is
not spring).

Hop-Up
Hop-Uup system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting
it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight
path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up,
while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate
adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which
result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
