Deutsch-Wagram, założoną w 1963 przez Gastona Glocka. W maju 1980 armia
austriacka ogłosiła konkurs na opracowanie zupełnie nowego wzoru
pistoletu. W ciągu 6 miesięcy w biurze projektowym firmy opracowano
prototyp pistoletu, który stał się światowym hitem i zyskał miano "broni
XXI wieku".
Na bazie tego pistoletu powstało wiele wersji o różnym
przeznaczeniu, różniących się głównie kalibrem stosowanej amunicji,
wymiarami zewnętrznymi i masą. Do 2004r. sprzedano łącznie, w 100
krajach, około 2,5 miliona pistoletów, z czego około 250 000 – do USA.
Replika pistoletu G17
Replika pistoletu G17 jest jedną z wersji najbardziej chyba znanego na świecie austriackiego pistoletu. Dzięki
wygodnemu, posiadającemu antypoślizgową fakturę chwytowi replika
idealnie leży w dłoni, zaś specjalnie profilowana osłona spustu gwarantuje pewny chwyt podczas operowania pistoletem. Tak jak w
wersji palnej, przyrządy celownicze są dobrze widoczne i oznaczone w
sposób umożliwiający prowadzenie ognia w słabych warunkach
oświetleniowych. W przeciwieństwie do większości dostępnych na rynku modeli, ten zaopatrzony jest w umieszczony w języku spustowym bezpiecznik.

BLOW-BACK zwiększający realizm oddawania strzałów oraz umożliwia przeładowanie
repliki tak samo jak w wersji palnej.

Propultion
Replicas have spring, electric or gas propultion. Spring models need to
reload after each shot (pull back the lock) to enter the ball into the
chamber. At the same time it pulls spring back, to be able to
give a shot. Electric replicas depends on the battery,
whereby the engine drives the whole gearbox, and a gas models, push
the BB by gas, which loads in magazine (in these replicas ther is
not spring).

Hop-Up
Hop-Uup system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting
it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight
path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up,
while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate
adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which
result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
