M16 rifle – information excerpted form wikipedia.org
The M16 (officially
Rifle, Caliber 5.56 mm,
M16) is the United States
military designation for the AR-15 rifle adapted for both semi-automatic and
full-automatic fire. Colt purchased the rights to the AR-15 from ArmaLite, and
currently uses that designation only for semi-automatic versions of the rifle.
The M16 fires the 5.56×45mm NATO cartridge. The rifle entered United States
Army service and was deployed for jungle warfare operations in South Vietnam in
1963, becoming the U.S. military's standard service rifle of the Vietnam War by
1969, replacing the M14 rifle in that role. The U.S. Army retained the M14 in
CONUS, Europe, and South
Korea until 1970. Since the Vietnam War, the
M16 rifle family has been the primary service rifle of the U.S. armed forces.
The
airsoft gun, made under license from LMT - Levis Machine & Tool Co., is a
replica of the Defender Patrol R.I.S. version assault carbine. The whole airsoft gun is made in accordance with
the real steel equivalent.
The body, handguard, RIS rails, the trigger with
the trigger guard, the outer barrel, magazine, detachable sights, magazine
catch, selector lever, the cocking handle, bolt catch and sling mounts are all
made of metal. The
stock and the pistol grip are made of ABS.
Each and every airsoft gun bears an individual
serial number and original LMT designations.
The airsoft gun has a M120 main spring and 9 mm
bearings fitted on it in stock. The whole is enclosed in a reinforced gearbox. The airsoft gun is prepared to operate on any given
power source, i.e. NiMh, NiCd and LiPo, LiOn.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS

Propultion
Replicas have spring, electric or gas propultion. Spring models need to
reload after each shot (pull back the lock) to enter the ball into the
chamber. At the same time it pulls spring back, to be able to
give a shot. Electric replicas depends on the battery,
whereby the engine drives the whole gearbox, and a gas models, push
the BB by gas, which loads in magazine (in these replicas ther is
not spring).

Gearbox version
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only
shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the
manufacturer
depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example,
a
models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK
family have gearbox v3.

Lenght [mm]
The
length of the replca is measured between the two most distant points of
each other. Different models have several of these values, because of
its design allows to increase or decrease it length (eg. folding stock or
extended flash hider).

Weight [g]
This is a value that includes the weight of the replica, magazine and

Hop-Up
Hop-Uup system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting
it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight
path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up,
while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate
adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which
result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).

Blow Back
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the
work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and
adds a lot more experience during shooting.
Power of all presented replicas is less than 2 [J]. You cannot buy a replica in our shop if you are under 18. Do not shoot at other persons, birds or animals.
