The SR25 sniper rifle replica is made of metal and high quality plastic. The profiled piston grip and the stock as also the front tactical grip and the RIS rail cover panels are made of plastic. The RIS rails, the replica’s body and the barrel are made of metal.
A shortened barrel and a multi-position stock were used in this replica thanks to which it gained on being handy – in contrary to its longer correspondent, it does its job on the urbanized areas much better.
The replica is equipped with a extended V2 gearbox, a ball bearing metal guide, steel slide bearings and reinforced thread-wheels.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
v2 long Gearbox
This is a v2 gearbox, which has been extended due to the construction of a replicas body. Used components inside gearbox (mainly piston and cylinder) are also extended, but this is not the rule and it depends on the manufacturer.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.

current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
When I unpacked it fired 128 m/s. After I fired 350 bbs the motor gear and a gear from gear box broke. I replaced the gears and after 500bbs it fired 112 m/s. I repaced the spring and after 3 (three) bbs all the piston teeths broke. I replaced the piston and the barrel (MadBull 6.03). In order to seal the barrel in the hopup chamber I had to overlap 8 layers of teflon band, so I replaced the chamber. I equipped the SR25 with a mosfet and 11.1 V Lipo battery and on single fire it fired 3-4 bbs. I have to use only 7.4 V battery. After 2 months of struggle it is not fireing good (138 m/s). The bbs go far but very inaccurate. I'm steel working on my SR25, but after spending a lot of money and time it is the worst airsoft gun I ever had. Don't buy A&K.
